Today, we received our latest blessing. My baby boy is out!

Although I already have a daughter, I was not in the operating room when she was born. I was anxiously waiting outside. Today was different, I was in the “war room” the whole time.

This was my wife’s second delivery and seeing how everything transpired, I can’t help but be astonished by how much my wife and all the mothers endure the pain of carrying the baby, delivering the baby and raising the baby. It was just amazing.

Not to take anything away from us gents, but let’s admit it, whenever we have a new addition to the family, 80-90% of work is done by the ladies. 9 months is a long time to carry someone inside your tummy. Of course, it doesn’t stop there, they need to breastfeed the baby for as long as they can while taking care of you and the other kids for, well, as long as they’re able. That’s a lot of hard work!

What’s my point? Husbands, love your wives, love the mother of your children. Our wives are the biggest blessing we can have. They’ll feed you, they’ll take care of you, they will carry the baby for you while loving you and your kids wholeheartedly. They are the strongest beings; physically, emotionally and mentally. The more children you have, the more you should love your wife. I honor my wife for everything that she did, she’s doing and will be doing. You should too!
