One of my favorite meditations to do is the love and kindness meditation.

This is one of the simplest yet really fulfilling meditation I do.

In love and kindness meditation, you wish for safety, happiness, good health and ease in life not just for you but also for other people.

Here’s how I do it:

I say “May ___ be safe, May ___ be happy, May ___, May ___ ease in my/their/ life/lives”

and repeat it 3 times. Blank i(“___”) is replaced with:

  1. I
  2. Family
  3. Someone I am having a hard time with
  4. Stranger/random person you’ve interacted with
  5. the World
  6. I

I do this every morning when I meditate and do my daily prayer.

So today, whoever is reading this, May you be safe, May you be happy, May you be healthy and may you have ease in your life.
