For all parents….

This is The Wholehearted Parenting Manifesto by one of my favorite authors, Brene Brown. This hits home really hard and I will try my best to follow and practice every line of it. For all parents, this is a must read! The Wholehearted Parenting Manifesto Above all else, I want you to know that you are loved and lovable. You will learn this from my words and actions–the lessons on love are in how I…

What are you choosing?

” but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” – Luke 10:42 This verse is about the sisters Mary and Martha, for which Martha chooses to serve while Mary chooses to listen. If you were given the opportunity to be with your creator, would you choose to serve or choose to listen? In all honesty, I will choose to serve…

Accepting kind gestures…

We have been waiting for our appliances for over 2 months now to no avail. The appliance company was gracious enough to give us a big discount for the other appliance that came with a scratch even though it’s not really their fault nor it’s their fault that the appliances are not in stock yet. Rarely does she complains about how hard it is to deal with a hyperactive 2 year-old, a talkative 6 year-old and a child like 34 year-old. We spent time together today doing chores and doing the grocery and we don’t often do it that much because of the pandemic. Today was great! I am happy.

Responsibilities…

Having your own home is a lot of responsibilities. Have to sort waste, shovel the snow, water the grass and a whole lot more. On the other side, there’s a lot more to celebrate and be grateful for and it definitely outweighs the responsibilities. I will be used to it and Ill get to enjoy to enjoy it pretty soon. Be happy!

I don’t like to running, but I run anyway…

I don’t enjoy running, because it’s hard. There are a lot of things that make me uncomfortable, but I do them anyway. You know why? Because I realized most of them represent my fears and my goals that I have been putting aside. Today, I finally reached my goal of running 7 km in 45 mins. When I started almost 2 months ago, I did 5.5 km. It’s not a world record but definitely my…
