I don’t like to running, but I run anyway…
I don’t enjoy running, because it’s hard.
There are a lot of things that make me uncomfortable, but I do them anyway. You know why? Because I realized most of them represent my fears and my goals that I have been putting aside.
Today, I finally reached my goal of running 7 km in 45 mins. When I started almost 2 months ago, I did 5.5 km. It’s not a world record but definitely my personal best.
So why run? Because every time I run, I get to prove to myself that I have what it takes to overcome anything even if it’s hard, I can do it one stride at a time.
That reason alone is a good motivation to keep pushing and running.
