Finding Rhythm in Music and Tech

Last weekend, I picked up my drumsticks and played at a fundraiser gala. 🥁

Outside of my work in AI, quality engineering, speaking, and coaching, music has always been a constant in my life. I started playing at eight years old, and even now, it continues to shape how I think and work.

Being back on stage reminded me that the lessons I learned through music never really left they just evolved.

• Discipline from years of practice.
• Listening closely to stay in sync with others.
• Adjusting in real time when things don’t go as expected.
• Showing up prepared, while staying flexible in the moment.

These aren’t just musical skills, they’re the same principles I rely on when working with teams, leading initiatives, and navigating the fast pace of tech.

It’s amazing how the habits we build early on quietly become the foundation for our careers.
I’m grateful to still be playing, still learning, and still finding rhythm in both music and technology. 💻🎶
